Luke woke this morning at 5:00 and wanted to eat. Very good sign. He ate a few crackers and then went back to sleep until 7:00. His fever is once again gone, and he's drinking and eating little bits but his energy and strength is still nonexistent. His congestion is almost gone and he slept really well last night. Dare I say he's on the mend.
We went to the video store to get some dvd's with the understanding that he wasn't to touch ANYTHING :) We are on day 9 of flu and he's so bored (and whiney). Hopefully the dvd's get him through today and he feels well enough tomorrow to be outside a little bit. The fresh air would do some good. Would be so nice if we had a stroller (and he would sit in it :).
Not much progress has been made on the house this week. The contractor's daughter left yesterday for one of the Carolina's to spend two month volunteering on an organic farm through the WWOOF program and he's had another project to attend to. Yesterday he spent most of the day redoing something (at no charge) that he had done but felt wasn't up to his standards. Seems doubtful that the window will even get in before the weekend. Definitely no trim or siding and it's going to start raining again. UGH!
