Luke was able to attend Terrific Tigers on Friday and seemed to enjoy it. His congestion is all cleared up once again. Randy had the day off so he took him. I took a lovely long walk with a neighbor. The weather was soooo lovely.
Randy and I have finished the preliminary designs for the built-ins on both sides of the fireplace and the colonnades that will divide the living room and dining room. There used to be a wall there and now that it's gone the ceiling is sagging, pretty significantly, and even more since the insulation was poured on top of it. Next step, meet with the cabinet maker so he can do formal drawings and give us a price. Looks like the contractor is busier then he thought so we may be pushed back a bit again, phew!
Speaking of insulation, I don't know if the weather is significantly different than last February, if the billing cycle was shorter or if we just used the fireplace more, but our we used 48.57 less kilowatts this cycle (dropping from 58.93 to 10.36). We really hope it's not a fluke and it's due to the new insulation. Wouldn't that be awesome!!!
