Randy and I spent the weekend moving our bed into Luke's room and moving the living room into our bedroom. Erik, the contractor, started today. He will be raising the ceiling in between the living and dining rooms that has sagged more than two inches. He'll put a new support beam in and then we are either going to do 1/2 walls and colonnades or just 1/2 walls. We have some time to decide. Erik spent most of the day buying supplies, setting up for work, placing the house jacks and putting the support beam in place. Tomorrow plaster will come down and the real work will start.
Luke is on spring break this week. It was so nasty today and still is. Randy is home now and they are running around in the rain. I should be out walking Gracie but instead sit in front of the fire waiting for the rain to taper off a bit.
