Regular, routine naps are now a thing of the past. Luke occasionally lies down in the afternoon but it's a rare occurance these days. It was a hard adjustment for me but it's been much better for him. He falls asleep more easily at night and is still getting around 11 hours sleep so that's good.
We broke down and replaced our ancient 19" tv's today. We got a nice little 23" LCD for the bedroom and a whopping 32" tv for the living room. 32" isn't whopping for most people but it looks absolutely huge in our small space.
Luke and I are going to schedule a visit to Mis Amigos preschool. It's a spanish language preschool in the area and they have afternoon classes that are less than 2 hrs. Since he's not napping I thought it would be great to add this in once a week. The classes are M/W but I'm hoping we can sign up for one day. I think two days in addition to his regular two days of preschool would be too much for this year but next year would probably be okay.
Our contractor will spend the next couple of weeks tying up loose ends and then will leave us to work on another client's home. He will hopefully be back late in the spring or early in the summer to finish up the siding so we can paint before next winter. He is going to make sure all the wiring in the ceiling is up to date so we can schedule the insulators to come in during his haitus. We are losing so much heat through the ceiling. As soon as the insulation is complete we can work on creating storage space in the attic so it's not just piles of unorganized boxes.
