At any rate, we went to the beach this morning. Mauna Lani is a small very calm beach that you have to walk through a resort to get to. We felt it would be a good start for Luke because the water is so calm it's like glass. There are nice palm trees for shade and a beach bar. Perfect. Luke would not get anywhere near the water. We coaxed him down a couple of times but literally the second the water hit his toes he was off and running back to the top of the beach. I think Randy was really disappointed. He would love to have someone to frolic in the water with. Hopefully he will get more adventurous as the trip goes on.
Tomorrow we are off to Kua Bay, my dad and stepmom's current favorite beach. Not sure we've been there before.
Reading "Eat, Pray, Love". Not riveted so far but it's a nice read.
