5/19/12 - Birthday Party 12 pm

Luke had his first kid birthday party (with lots of kids and presents) at noon at the Children's Museum in Tacoma.  He was inundated with gifts.  He received 6 new Lego sets.  It was chaos and once the pizza, gifts and cupcakes were over I was really ready to be done (headache and just too overstimulated).  Thankfully they have a little cafe so I could get a nice hot cup of green tea and reenergize.  Everyone but one friend went home after an hour of play.  Luke and his friend ended up playing for another hour. 

This evening we celebrated cousin Elle's birthday with dinner out.  I thought Luke was going to collapse under the table :)  A long day but so worth it.  He had so much fun.
