Luke woke up this morning devastated with the realization that preschool is done and he isn't going back. He cried inconsolably for more than 30 minutes. At times so hard I thought he was going to throw up. He doesn't understand why he can't go back next year. At the very least he wants to go to every summer camp they offer at the Tacoma Nature Center this summer.
The day ended with Luke's preschool graduation balloon which he has had and protected since May 26. Randy and I were outside in the garden. Luke was inside playing with cousin Adyson. Suddenly we heard the most horrific screams and Luke came running out of the house still screaming. His ballon slowly floated away. It took forever to calm him down and soon after he just wanted to go to bed.
