Summation of the last 48 hours

Luke recovered quickly from his random high fever.
Erik tore out the hearth leaving a gaping 2'x5' hole in the living room floor.
Erik jacked up the floor only to discovered it leveled one area but made the hearth REALLY unlevel. Dropped it back down in favor of having a more level (appearing) hearth.
Tallulah (fat cat) fell into the tarp covered hole and disappeared under the house last night.
Mister P (outside cat) discovered that he could climb into through the now poorly tarped hole in the floor and came in in the middle of the night, walking around, meowing, wondering where everyone was.
I weeded the blueberry/strawberry bed today while Luke watched Erik and Fred (electrician) work and cut through the electric dog fence.

We will leave the hole open tonight in hopes that Tallulah comes looking for a way back in. Tomorrow I will mend the fence and hopefully gets the underlay for the new hearth laid.
