Optimist

For the most part I think you are born an optimist or a pessimist. I guess I've never given it much thought when it comes to Luke. He's a happy kid and that's what was important. Tonight Luke and I were looking at the 7 day forecast and all the days except one had a cloud with rain. One day was labeled partly cloudy and the picture showed a cloud with the sun peaking over it. Luke went through each day, "rain, rain, rain", he got to the partly cloudy day and started to say partly cloudy and then said, "partly sunny" then back to "rain, rain, rain". Right then I knew, optimist! It made me so happy. Life is so much harder when you focus on the negative.
