That describes Luke these days both in grown and activity. He has grown an inch in the past two weeks. And, he runs and jumps all over the house. It exhausts me just watching him :)
Christmas was great. Luke got tons of legos and we had to go in search of a new lego table because they were covering the old lego table and the coffee table. We ended up finding an old library table at Second Use. It has two drawers in the front for extra storage.
Luke and 7yo cousin Adyson finally had the blowup about Santa two weeks ago as they were playing with her dollhouse. Luke told her that he and his dad were actually the ones who put it together and gave it to her. She told him he was wrong, that it was Santa. They had a big argument. Randy picked up Luke and he told him of the argument and questioned the whole Santa thing and in the end Randy told him that Santa was actually parents. Not a big deal really given his age, he hasn't had years of believing so wasn't upset at all.
January went much quicker than we thought it would. Usually it drags along, dark and rainy, with us not able to get much done outside. We were able to get the parking strip beds cleaned out and ready for planting. I've got all the wood cut and oiled and ready for building in the West side of the front yard and restrung the invisible fence to go with it. I have been working on pounding plastic barriers into the ground so the raspberries quit growing into the backyard garden. Will be interesting to see if the hops or the raspberries take over behind the greenhouse. Peas will go in this weekend.
No pictures this time. I know I've been taking them, they are just all still in my camera.
